Happy New Year!
We hope everyone had a safe and joyous holiday season. We had the privilege once again this year of having our showroom decorated with the local elementary schools’ Christmas tree display. It was a wonderful tribute to our hardworking and never forgotten military heroes and to the Red, White, and Blue of the USA. As part of the decorating contest, we were proud to donate over $2000 to these schools for their special projects or charitable giving campaigns.
As the New Year begins, we have many exciting things happening at Sax Motor Co. in 2010. We are trying something completely new this weekend January 28-30. We are having a huge indoor sales event in Bowman, ND that will have combined inventories from our Dickinson and Bowman stores. Shop in indoor comfort at the Multi Purpose Arena located on South Main and Hwy 12 in Bowman. Hours will be 9-6 on Thursday and Friday and 9-4 on Saturday.
We also have many great products that were recently introduced or are coming in the next few months. Chevy has the all-new Equinox and the new Heavy Duty Silverado for trucks and the Chevrolet Cruze for cars. Cadillac has the completely redesigned SRX and a CTS wagon. We have a large GM Goodwrench promotion that runs all year, with different specials such as Oil Change discounts, special pricing on Brake Services, and a GM tire price guarantee that will run throughout the year. This promotion kicks off with a $20 service rebate offer good through the end of February. Details and links to the coupon are detailed in the article below.

Customer Service Award:Christmas Tree Decorating Contest
Thank you to all of the elementary schools who participated in the 2009 Holiday Tree Contest! The red white and blue theme seemed to inspire each school to concentrate this year on decorations that were both colorful and heartfelt, and that were true to the spirit of support for our country and for our shared values. Many in the community expressed to us their appreciation of your talented efforts to brighten the holiday, and to add to their own appreciation of the season.
Congratulations to Berg Elementary, winner of this year's first prize of $600.00. Contratulations too, to second place winner, Jefferson Elementary, who will receive $500.00, and to our third place winner, 
Roosevelt Elementary, who will receive $400.00. Lincoln Elementary, Hope Christian, Trinity West, and Trinity East will each receive $150.00 for a project of their choice.
All of us at Sax Motor Co. enjoyed celebrating the season with you in this very special way, and look forward to doing so with you again in 2010.

Last year over 800,000 people were texting, making calls, or using a handheld cell phone while driving in the United States. With distracted driving killing nearly 6,000 Americans in the same year, it's no mystery that cell phone use is risky for drivers.
As cell phones become more popular on the road, driving tragedies involving text messaging while behind the wheel have increased in frequency. This alarming trend has now made drivers more aware of the dangers of text messaging and other cell phone distractions on the road.
People who send text messages while driving are 23 times more likely to be in a crash nondistracted drivers. In crashes or near-crashes, texting took a driver's focus away from the road for an average of 4.6 seconds--enough time to travel the length of a football field at 55 mph. Bottom line, we want you and everyone in your car to get to your destination safely.
