Arriving Fall of 2008

The 2009 Chevrolet Traverse is an expressively styled, well-equipped crossover that gives customers people-hauling and cargo-carrying capability typically found in larger SUVs. With styling cues inspired by the acclaimed '08 Chevy Malibu, the Traverse delivers refined details with strong proportions and the bold front-end appearance found on all new Chevrolets.

The Traverse's interior can be configured for seven or eight adults. The third-row seat is capable of comfortably seating adults while simultaneously providing best-in-class storage space behind it. The Traverse also features second row Smart Slide System for easy access to the third row seats and Bluetooth hands-free phone connectivity.

We can look forward to great fuel economy, style and convenience in Chevy's newest addition, the all new 2009 Traverse.

There is no question that energy prices and the resulting increase of gasoline prices are having an impact on the pocketbooks of Americans.  Unfortunately, many car owners will respond to this situation by putting off vehicle maintenance, only taking care of the items that are critical to keeping their vehicle running!

According to the Department of Energy web site  - www.fuelecomony.gov. - "fixing a car that is noticeably out of tune or has failed an emissions test can improve its gas mileage by an average of 4 percent..."  The site goes on to explain that "fixing a serious maintenance problem, such as a faulty oxygen sensor, can improve your mileage by as much as 40 percent."  It's clear that the savings in annual fuel consumption that would result from better vehicle maintenance would be substantial for every household if consumers would properly maintain their vehicles.

Visiting our SMC Quick Lube and getting educated on the importance of proper vehicle maintenance will convince you not to avoid regular trips to our service facility.  We can check your gas caps (many of which are damaged, loose, or missing altogether!), check for dirty spark plugs, and do a general inspection that will help us help you improve your vehicle gas mileage.
